Believe it or not, the huge retail chain Wal-Mart is refusing to sell the new book written by Ronda Rousey. Rousey is a UFC star, and the undefeated women’s bantamweight champion. And according to Wal-Mart, it does not want to sell the book because they believe that it is too violent.
Wait a minute, doesn’t Wal-Mart sell guns in some states?
According to Rousey’s publisher, that was the explanation that they decided, adding that both she and Rousey are completely shocked at the decision, calling it an example of “censorship in America.”
Rousey is 28 and has a perfect, undefeated record. In fact, almost all of her victories have taken her less than a round to achieve. Her first autobiography is scheduled to hit book stands, that are not located in Wal-Mart, on May 12.
Rousey has also seen a lot of success outside of the ring recently, making appearances in blockbuster movies such as “Furious 7” and “The Expendables 3.”
