There is no other play that sports fans around the world are talking about today, this is it. Ohio State showed in their first game of the college football season why they are ranked number one and probably destined to repeat as champions. But newly-christened wide reciever Braxton Miller was the guy who stole the show.
After taking the ball as a runner, not a pass catcher, Miller eluded a would-be tackler with one of the nastiest spin moves we’ve seen in a very long time. After that, there was no catching him, he ran 54 yards to score an easy touchdown.
The Internet went nuts, with professional athletes and fans of every sport praising the slick move. Miller even used Ohio native and Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James’ patented move “The Silencer” after scoring the touchdown, to which King James responded positively on Twitter praising the young Ohio receiver.
I see you lil bro @BraxtonMiller5!!! Hit em with “The Silencer”
