A couple of days ago, Floyd Mayweather Jr. said that he would be up for fighting Manny Pacquiao again, after Pac-Man recovers from his shoulder surgery, which he claimed was the reason that he lost to Mayweather.
But now the champ has had a change of heart. He admitted that he did text ESPN journalist Stephen A. Smith telling him that he would give Pacquiao a rematch, but that he changed his mind.
“At this particular time, no, because he’s a sore loser and he’s a coward.”
Since losing to Mayweather on May 2, Pac-Man and his team have been trying to get a rematch, saying that Pacquiao was fighting with a shoulder injury, which is why he lost.
Whether or not the rematch will happen remains to be seen. But considering the fact that Mayweather made $180 million for the first match and Pacquiao $120 million, we are sure they will step into the ring again if the price is right.
