It’s pretty much a consensus that Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time. However, there are still many NBA fans that think that Jordan, who is now 52-years-old, can take just about anyone in a one-on-one basketball game.
So it might not be that surprising that a recent poll of NBA fans showed that up to 34% of fans believe that MJ could beat LeBron James in a one-on-one game if they were to play today.
Of course, the claim is pretty absurd. James is easily the best player in the NBA currently and is much younger, faster, and in better shape than Jordan. Even Jordan would have to say that James would be able to take him in a one-on-one game today.
However, it just goes to show how much people still love Jordan and how legendary and all-powerful he still remains in the eyes of many fans.
