We all know that J.J. Watt is the best defender in the NFL right now. But we’ve also seen that the Houston Texans star can be a difference maker on offense as well. Last year, Watt caught three passes lining up on offense as a tight end and all of them were touchdown catches.
He even intercepted a ball and took it to the house last year. Could Watt be getting more involved in the offense this year? If anything is sure from watching him make one-handed catch after one-handed catch effortlessly from the jugs machine, it’s that Watt has some soft hands.
This video from training camp shows that the 26-year-old defensive leader could probably play any position on the field with success. So could Watt be lining up on offense for more than just goal line situations as a tight end? Probably not, but it would be great to see.
