As soon as Washington Nationals power hitter Bryce Harper made contact with the ball, everyone knew that it was as good as gone. We are talking about a serious moon-shot that looked like it might not only leave the ballpark, but the planet as well.
When his eighth winning home run against the Miami Marlins did eventually land, it landed pretty close to the absolute farthest seats in the stadium. It was simply a sight to behold. The ball pretty much flew off his bat after contact and he hit it so hard that it looked like the ball would simply snap in half from the intensity of the contact.
Harper is really in the zone right now. It was his 29th home run of the year and his second of the night. The kid is an absolute monster, there’s no doubt about it.
