If you’re looking for the best ending to a game at the NCAA tournament last week, look no further than the Georgia State upset over third ranked Baylor.
R.J. Hunter was the star of the game for No. 14 seed Georgia State, leading the team on a 13-0 comeback in the last three minutes of the game scoring 12 points all on his own. The biggest bucket he nailed was the one with 2.5 seconds left in the game, sinking a long three-pointer to put the team ahead for good.
The shot was so good that it made Panthers coach Ron Hunter call off his stool. And in case you haven’t figured it out by now, R.J. Hunter is coach Hunter’s son.
Coach Ron Hunter has to sit on a rolling stool because he tore his Achilles last week. Hopefully the fall off the stool didn’t lead to any further injuries.
