Detroit Lions defensive star Ndamukong Suh is definitely a force to be reckoned with, but he is always shooting himself in the foot.
Suh just can’t seem to stop himself from playing dirty, and this time he could potentially cost his team big time.
Even though he said it was an accident, the video clearly shows that he did nothing to stop himself from stomping on the leg of Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers this Sunday. And the NFL agrees with the tape.
As a result, the league has suspended Suh for one game. This means that he will not be playing against Dallas next week in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Which means that the Lions will be facing one of the best offenses in the league without one of their defensive stars.
According to NFL officials, the suspension came as a result of the fact that this was far from Suh’s first instance of playing dirty and they wanted to make a statement suspending himself instead of simply fining him again.
