With a 2-0 record going into week three, the Dallas Cowboys look ready to take control of the NFC East. However, they are going to have to play most of the season without their two offensive stars – quarterback Tony Romo and star receiver Dez Bryant.
Bryant was injured in the season opener against the New York Giants and is currently recovering from foot surgery. He could miss up to 10 weeks or more, according to reports. During yesterday’s win over another division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles, Romo fractured his left clavicle and will miss eight to ten weeks.
Can the Cowboys still win the division and make it to the playoffs? Thankfully for them, their division looks terrible. Both the Giants and Eagles are 0-2, and the Washington Redskins, who were projected to be at the bottom of the division, just one their first game on Sunday. So if the Cowboys can manage to win at least seven more games, they should be able to win the division if the rest of the teams continue to play poorly.
