7-Game NBA Preseason Bonanza

We cannot wait for the 2015-16 NBA season to begin, but luckily, the preseason is here and we get to see teams showing off their new rosters and trying out new things. Last night, 7 games were played altogether and we have a brief rundown for you today.

The Boston Celtics played Olimpia Milano in Italy and, as you would expect, they cruised to an easy victory, 124-91. The Philadelphia 76ers were in Washington playing the Wizards and despite a strong showing from their rookie Jahlil Okafor, they suffered a loss, 129-95.

The Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons fought a hard battle with the Pacers prevailing 115-112. Paul George had an amazing game, scoring 20 in the first quarter alone. The Chicago Bulls hosted the Milwaukee Bucks and won 115-95. Jimmy Butler had a great game for the Bulls.

The Memphis Grizzlies played the Houston Rockets in Memphis and won 92-89. Both teams’ stars played very limited minutes. The Denver Nuggets were in Dallas where they played the Mavericks. The Mavericks were not looking great and they lost 96-86.

The last game of the night was played in Hawaii where the Los Angeles Lakers effectively “hosted” the Utah Jazz who won in overtime, 117-114. The most intense moment in the game came in the third quarter when Trevor Booker and Roy Hibbert got into an altercation which ended with Booker slapping Hibbert and then getting thrown out.
