Major League Baseball was rocked a few years back by a steroids scandal that involved some of the biggest names in the game.
They were exposed by US Senator George J. Mitchell’s 20-month long investigation into the use of performance-enhancing drugs in MLB. Released in December of 2007, it tarnished the reputation of the following players and may keep many of them from ever being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
1. Jason Giambi
In 2002, the personal trainer of the player arranged a blood test that tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. Afterwards, he put the player on a regimen of other performance-enhancing drugs that are harder to detect.
