10 Highest Scoring NBA Players Who Never Won A Scoring Title


The criteria for winning a scoring title changed with the 1968-69 season. Up to that point the player with the most total points won the award. It then switched to the player with the highest points per game average, provided he played in at least 70 games.

1. Karl “The Bridesmaid” Malone (36,928, 2nd)

The Jazz legend finished second an incredible seven times within a 10-year span, and every time to Michael Jordan.
